🌻 June Newsletter

Hey Reader! Thank y'all so much for shopping my birthday sale last month, y'all really made a gal feel special celebrating my 30th with my community! That said, June was supposed to be a "chill" month, but has started with me gearing up to move into a house, and prepare for a couple markets past-Michaela thought was a good idea. The plan is to rest and make new work, so we shall see! πŸ˜… Some updates & links that are inspiring me below!

1. Upcoming Markets

A couple markets in June!

πŸ—“οΈ 6/8+9 Markets for Makers
POST, Houston
11am - 5pm

πŸ—“οΈ 6/15+16 Markets for Makers - Palmer Event Center, Austin
11am - 5pm

πŸ—“οΈ 6/17 - 6/30
SHOP CLOSED
- We're moving! Shop reopens July!

2. I partnered with Crayola!

OMG I am so excited to share that I was commissioned by CRAYOLA to create AANHPI coloring pages last month!!! 😱 These are 2 of 4 that I'm working on, the rest will release early next year for LNY! You can download each page clicking here: Lucky Cat page or AANHPI page

3. I'm on a Podcast!

OMG Grace with Studio Haru invited me to be on her FIRST EPISODE of her podcast! She explores the ups and owns of being an artist and business owner, and we definitely had more than an hour's worth of stuff to chat about in 30 minutes! Follow the podcast and her instagram @studioharu__!

4. Currently Reading

πŸ“š In Limbo: Deb JJ Lee just published a memoir graphic novel of their coming of age experience in high school as a Korean American. I definitely resonated with their experiences in orchestra, realizing I looked different than other kids, and struggle with mental health. The artwork is gorgeous and they discuss more about how they called-out their professors in-person during a recent keynote on their Tiktok. I'm obsessed with their Everything Everywhere fanart print is incredible! 😍

5. Currently Watching

I've recently been watching the roller coaster that is Bridgerton Season 3! Have you seen the new trailer for part 2? The orchestra arrangements of popular songs are always so good! Also, a maker friend of mine made it onto Gordon Ramsay's Food Stars, so we're cheering her on!

Since I'm moving in a couple weeks, shop clearance items up to 50% OFF! Help make room for new goodies to come!

✨Sneak Peeks ✨

Some frequently requested risos will be available in the shop Saturday during my market this weekend! I'm playing with 2 different color waves, red and pink! I'm curious to see which ones will do well! 🧐 Every time I guess, I never correctly predict which will sell better!

Additionally, I'm excited to launch some bread cat stickers as a sticker sheet and a couple more bread cats as 3 inch stickers!

✨That's it for announcements! ✨
