~ SEPTEMBER | 2024 ~
Hey Reader! I can't believe September is blowing by! I have so much I'm trying to get done before next week, but I'm excited to share a lot of fun updates!
1. Upcoming Markets
My next pop-up market will be in THIS SATURDAY in Dallas! Chimlanh (previously Sandwich Hag) who offers Vietnamese coffee & pastries is re-opening + partnering with DAAART Club to do a Mini-Moon market! This will be the last market before I'll be out on vacation and shop will be closed. ποΈ 9/21 Mini-Moon Market: Dallas β° 10am - 2pm π1902 Botham Jean Blvd β ποΈ 11/2+3 VIBE: Dallas ποΈ 11/9+10 Markets for Makers: Houston
The shop will be closed Sept 23rd - Nov 4th. I am headed to Japan next week! Plus hoping to work on new work and launch some new stuff by November! Website will still be active, but orders placed during this time will ship week of 11/4.

3.New NYC Youtube Videos!
There's nothing like leaving for vacation to kick my butt into gear and crank out 2 Youtube videos from my trip to NYC! π I chat through my trip to Stationery Fest back in August along with the art & stationery I bought! I had a lot of fun making these and makes me feel like a legit Youtuber. (Still very new to Youtube, but enjoying the journey)
π΅ I've been listening to Keshi's newest album Requiem, Texas and Soft Spot have been my favorites. Fun fact, Keshi is a Vietnamese American from Sugar Land, TX! I loved this short portrait interview of him while he's being drawn by Devon Rodriguez (another inspiring artist)! π΅ I've also had the retro single from Bruno Mars x Lady Gaga Die with a Smile on repeat. Like who would predict a 2010s power duo to team up to make a bop??
5. I'm getting a Riso Printer!
A big thing I've been working on behind the scenes is putting a payment down for a risograph printer! Y'all are the first to hear! If you're familiar with my work, a lot of it is inspired by riso, a technique similar to screen printing where you print one color from individual color drums at a time! The ink is made from rice, so it's eco friendly! I'm excited to get one of my own and print with more freedom in my own studio. Stay tuned!
β¨ Behind the Scenes β¨β βA little glimpse of some plants that had inspired me while helping out at Plant Con. With looming trip planning and house stuff, I've felt distracted from making art and super discouraged every time I doom scroll on IG of other artists who seem to keep cranking out art every day. This little painting is a reminder that the inspiration will come back and the time I spent still matters, even if it's not "making art that will sell." β¨
